Justin Hayward-Young aka Jay Jay Pistolet (born 2 May 1987) is a Singer-Songwriter from Hampshire, England. He is the Great-Grandson of Walter Hayward-Young. He attended King Edward VI School.

He has toured across the world and has opened for acts including Katie Melua, Two Gallants, Kid Harpoon, Noah and the Whale, Morcheeba and Laura Marling. He is also a keen collaborator having worked with artists such as SoKo and Mumford & Sons.

Pistolet released his debut single 'We Are Free' through Chess Club on 19th November 2007. The video, filmed in Soho, stars amongst others, Alice Dellal and Alicia Robinson. Recently, he has been in the studio with Charlie Fink (of Noah and the Whale), resulting in a 3 track demo. Pistolet is currently working on a new EP, again produced by Charlie Fink, which is being released on 17th November on Stiff Records[1] [2].
